I rode my e-bike out to my favorite disc golf course and played an eighteen basket round. I think I ended up with a +2 for the score. It was not the greatest score but I was having fun out there and trying different throws with my discs.
I ended up with a birdie on hole fifteen for a change. I thought not having the overhanging branches from the trees that were recently taken out would be helpful. It is a lot easier for me to push a more understable disc down to the basket without as much worry about going into the river. I'm going to miss those nice old trees though but it is what it is.
It wasn't too busy out on the course and I wasn't playing with anyone so I got to catch up a bit with an older friend who was out walking his dog. We talked a lot about this and that. Sometimes it feels to me that there is a language beyond words that happens out in a natural setting when you are just being there. It sort of doesn't make much difference what you are saying.
