It's been raining a lot today. Snails and mushrooms everywhere. This is good we needed the rain.
I managed to get outside to the disc golf course by the river today. There was a brief window of less rain but I did have to wait a bit under some trees to keep from getting too wet.
I scored at a +3 but probably would have gone even if I were playing with someone else. I think sometimes I focus better and don't miss as many embarrassingly easy short putts when I'm with other players.
On hole fifteen the beautiful large tree by the river had blown down. I was kind of sad. On the one hand it will make hole fifteen much easier because we won't have to throw under the tree branch any longer and probably less discs will end up in the river.
But, I know a hawk that rested there many a time, (I scared it out of the tree once with a bad throw.) and I kind of liked the challenge of getting around or under the branch.
The tree will be missed. A lot of these older trees have been falling lately, I'm not sure why.
I might post pictures of it tomorrow.

There's actually a more scientific explanation for why mushrooms sprout up in a circle but I don't like it as much, lol.
