I played out at the difficult NSRA disc golf course this morning with a couple of freinds. It was really fun to be out with them. It feels like they are very supportive of my being in the tournament this weekend and one of my friends sounded like he was planning to sign up for the tournament next year.
I ended up with a +12 score which is about where I have been playing. It took some time for me to warm up and there were several holes where I was not throwing as well as I like.
Both of my friends lost a couple of discs each. It is a unforgiving course if you throw off the fairway. Their scores were not as good but I think everyone was still having fun.
It is a very challenging course but they have it fixed up nicely for the tournament so it is a bit easier to play now. I'm sure they will be marking the out of bounds lines soon. I think a lot of this work is being done by the disc golf club. It sure seems like a lot to do, I'm very thankful that we have the opportunity to play.
A frog in the flower pot:
The frog was in the tomatoes but he got scared when I started harvesting them and jumped into the flower pot.

There is a really nice apple crop in the yard this season but they are very wormy. They work well for sauce and eating right away but I don't think I will be able to store as many this year.
