It was a bit rainy and windy today with a sixteen MPH wind listed in UDisc. I ended up playing disc golf a lot better than yesterday when the wind was listed at 11 MPH. Both days it was very gusty and not holding a steady direction.
Today a +6 score gave me a significant win over the other two people I was playing with. My son was having a really hard time with the conditions and his arm was hurting him a bit. I don't think it is anything too serious and I hope he gets over it soon.
I ended up winning a payout in the disc golf league for my third place win. I was happy with getting something especially since I felt like I was not playing at my best. On the first hole I was very nervous and ended up with a triple bogey.
If I do better this Sunday I should probably be thinking about moving up to the next division even though I'm not rated yet. Right now I'm in the lowest amateur division. As a beginner I really had no idea about where I should register and I'm a lot older than most of the other players.
