I went out for a practice round of disc golf at my favorite course today. The weather was really nice but just a bit cold on the e-bike ride out there.
Here's a picture I took on the way home:
These are rocks that they use to fix the dike by the river. Occasionally we get some flooding and this whole valley would be a river delta area with intermittent swamp land if the river was not controlled.
I scored around a +4 on my disc golf round. I was running every putt and playing some lines that I usually don't throw. I think it is good to try some different things in practice to get used to them. It is fun to mix things up a bit although it can be frustrating when they don't work as well.
My son and I talked about doing a, "Shank Me" round some time where we actively try to make the other mess up and break all the disc golf edict rules. We would not break the actual rules of disc golf and move peoples discs or anything. Excessive talking and moving and walking too close to the basket would be fair game though.
At this point I'm having a bit of second thoughts about it. I bet my son will be much better at this than I am, lol.
The mental game in disc golf is very much a part of things. Being able to concentrate and focus is very important. I always have trouble with noise and distractions but I'm getting better about it.
I was pleasantly surprised to find some additional rewards in Tron in my Steem account. It is always nice to be able to earn different crypto for your posts.
I hope that everyone has success in what they are doing and has a wonderful day, night, evening, etc.
Thanks for reading! I always value your support and comments. The pictures were taken by me with my Galaxy S9+. Text and graphics copyright lightsplasher & litesplasher.
