After three days or so of rainy overcast days, it was really nice to get out today for some disc golf. The weather was really nice with just a bit of wind. I played with my son and a couple of friends for the first round and for the second round just three of us played.
On the first round unfortunately one of the friends ended up losing two discs in the river on hole fifteen. We let him play from where the second throw flew over the riverbank because nobody wanted to see him lose another disc. The wind was a bit harsh but not all that bad. I threw my really overstable World disc and it did just fine. My son threw an overstable disc too but it gave us a bit of a scare and landed right on the edge of the rough by the river. Another friend really played it safe and stayed away from the river and almost black aced hole fourteen's basket.
I was three over par for the course on the second round and was a bit disappointed in my approach shots. I felt like I was doing alright off the tee but the second throw was not parking next to the basket. My son thought my putting was off but I think it was about as bad as it usually is, lol.
Here's a view out at the course by the river that I took today:
There were some flocks of birds off in the distance.
Here's Doggie out on our usual walk today:
You can see that the clouds are starting to roll back in again. If it is nice tomorrow I might head out to the Pro course, I have not played there for awhile.
