I played a couple of rounds of eighteen holes at our favorite disc golf course with my son. The scores were not all that good. The first round we were feeling rushed a lot by a group of people who were in a hurry. We let them play through after a few holes and it was better after that but kind of set the tone for the round.
On the second round my son got on the double bogie train and things kind of went down hill on that round too.
I'm used to missing a few throws so I don't normally get too upset about it. Still when it gets to be a pattern it can be tough.
I was carrying a few more discs than I usually do and playing with some new to me ones that I don't really throw very often. I think I do better if I limit myself to smaller numbers of discs I know how to throw well but that does not give me the chance to learn new discs.
It was a hard day in general for a few different reasons and the weather has been unusually warm for around here. Most people are not that used to the heat in this area. From the sound of things we have nothing to complain about as compared to many parts of the rest of the country.
