I played a lot of disc golf today with my son and several friends. Maybe four and a half round of eighteen holes. My best round was in the morning where I went one over par on eighteen baskets. It kind of went downhill from there.
The weather was really nice and we really enjoyed things after so many wet rainy days recently.
I ended up getting my Ruin disc back from my artist friend. I really liked the way it came out. It is easy to spot in the grass. It is so nice I'm almost afraid to throw it now.

The puppy is enjoying playing, "Bit the Humans", LOL and when he's not doing that he enjoys chomping on his toys:

There have been a lot of interesting looking snails this year. They have a lot of different color variation.
Raspberry Pi computer progress: Now that I have a pretty stable system I'm going to start setting up the media server tonight. Wish me luck. The Pi has been kind of the MG Midget of computing, if you remember that car. It was kind of a lot of tinkering for some excellent cruising.
Anyhow, if anyone has troubles with an external drive plugged into the USB 3 port killing your wireless mouse, I have the solution. I thought the drive was pulling too much power at first because I was having some serious display issues at the same time. I think the display issues were from the Ubuntu operating system and the other issue was from interference generated from the USB port. It is a pretty well documented problem and you just need to move the wireless mouse dongle away from the USB 3 port to fix it.
