I is pretty easy to get over 10K steps if your out e-biking and disc golfing. I met a couple of friends for a practice round this morning. We didn't keep score and were just having fun trying different discs and throws.

I ended up with CTP (closest to pin) on this throw:

You can see my orange Wraith disc under the basket. This is a 204 foot throw from the tee with a few trees protecting it. A forehand works the best for me because often times the skip form the ground action hits up against the trees and stops really close to the basket.

At around this point in the game the wind was starting to pick up. By the time we got to basket fifteen it was a pretty strong headwind. We all made some pretty hair razing throws that almost landed in the river. I was throwing my beat up Boss disc. It is a full weight disc and is very good at fighting a headwind and fading back to the left on a right hand forehand flick. I like throwing it when it is windy on this basket because I don't worry so much about not getting it back because it is damaged.

On the upshot one of my friends had a longer throw which ended up going into the river. I was too far away to stop it and watched as it rolled down the embankment. I spotted it in the water and we helped him get it out. He decided to keep his shoes on when he went into the river and when he got out he was so cold that he went home right away.

The combination of cold water and wet cloths is really tough. I usually like to take off my shoes and socks if I have to go in the water. That way I have something dry to put on when I get out.

It was pretty rocky and deep at that part of the river though and difficult footing. He was lucky that it did not roll out farther into the river.
