There was just gorgeous today with some blue sky tee shirt weather after some cold frost in the morning. The e-bike ride out to the disc golf course was a bit chilly but soon I was shedding layers of clothing.
I had the best round ever for the course scoring one under par or a 54 on the round. The second round we played a doubles match and it went really well too. My team ended up at three under par for the eighteen baskets.
My new found disc that I've named "Shank Me" ended up being very handy today. (It is really messed up around the edges, you can see a picture of it in yesterday's post) As usual there were some windy conditions on basket fifteen and the extra practice with a disc I don't need to worry about was nice. My friend ended up throwing another one of his discs into the river today on this basket.
I ended up purchasing a disc from a different friend that he had found in the river recently. It looks a lot like one that a friend lost earlier this week. I might have to give that back to him but no name was on it and he usually marks his discs so I might get to keep it.
It was a great day to be out disc golfing. I'm pretty happy with the way that I am playing now but I would like to get better at putting. I'm still very inconsistent at that. I'm thinking about getting another putter to try out for awhile.
