Greetings to the people of MCGI Hive Community, I believe God has always been good to us, because his mercies and kindness endureth forever.
I was privileged to participate in the Live MCGI Cares Event that was held via zoom, it is a program that shows how the people of God is taking out time to help the poor and the needy. I must say MCGI Cares are really doing their best to touch lives both in the nation and across the world, God bless them.
Important lesson learned from today's teaching.
Like I said earlier the program is all about giving and showing love to the poor and needy, the MCGI Cares has showed us a good example on how to treat people around us by not living a life of hatred or anger but that of love and giving.
Love: Bro Eli told us that the remedy for anger is love, so whenever a person or our neighbor is angry with us we should not react back anger but rather with love and everything will be ok, Matt 5:44. As a true Christian
and beleiver we should learn how to love one another, the Bible also instructed us to also love our enemies, no matter what they do to us we should always love them and God will greatly reward us for doing that.
Obedience: Bro Daniel told us to always live a life of obedience. We live a life of obedience by keeping the commandments of God and not deviate from it, you are to live a holy life as a believer so that you can receive blessings from God, because when you choose to live a unholy and sinful life God will be angry with us, this may attract curse to our lives. In order to enjoy God's blessings, live a good and obedient life and don't stain your hands by doing wrong things that will bring curse unto you.
Giving: The main goal for MCGI Cares is giving, and it is not just giving to anyone but to those who really need it which is the poor and the needy. We as believers should learn how to help people around us, let's make it a habit to give to the poor and needy according to how God has blessed us. Whenever we help the poor God is happy with us and he will surely reward us bountifully.
