We have many challenges facing us as a country. The major reasons the challenges keep rearing their heads is due to lack of patriotism to the country, Nigeria. Leaders are not patriotic, same with followers. Religion and tribalism are eating deep into the fabrics of our existence as an entity. Once a candidate of our tribe or religion is in the ballot, we forget every antecedent of the person to declare support because of the said affiliation. In the last election, we only had the choice to select among bad options. People queue up behind the candidates based on religion or ethnic affiliations. It's unfortunate.
