Addiction to gambling is very detrimental to one's finances. The hope of winning at the next attempt won't let an addict put a stop to it. It's really damaging. I haven't seen a gambler that ended well

Gambling is a destroyer. Many people have been depressed as result of gambling. The greed of wanting more won't let a gambler retire after a few wins. He continues till he loses everything.
