It is worth mentioning again that after searching long and hard for more than six years for the best circuit arrangement, the illustrated JOULESTEEM circuit variant below is by far the most promising, with a little bit of changes when compared with post #51:
Take note that the transistor at the GI pipe end of the circuit is removed, and instead, the 3 watts LED bulb is directly responsible in switching the circuit on and off to full path as the capacitor at the output end transfers its gathered charges into the backup batteries.
HOW PROMISING THIS IS SO FAR, REALLY
I need to lay down firstly how “ill equipped” I purposely did the latest experiments, as again, for a very simple reasoning that if a circuit performs very well with handicaps, how much more if done “all shiny and brand new”.
Consider the following as the components when I do these latest experiments:
There are 4x source batteries as swapped, 2x as source battery and 2x as charge battery; of the 4x batteries, 1x was bought brand new 3 years ago, 1x is dead and can be considered as “half-capacity” even if it is revived, 2x are dead and can not even run a load if I left it on its own to run simple loads
I employed jumper wires in all of my connections, with alligator clips on both tips
I employed used capacitors in all of such drawings
No cooling fans are used in all of these experiments
All inductors as illustrated are non-brand-new
All runs of the JOULESTEEM circuit as experimented are self-adjusting in terms of “resonance”, this means that I am not employing thorough component values pairing especially the LC circuits, what I have in hand as junk components gutted from electronics appliances, I simply used
No connection is soldered in any of the circuits as experimented, soldering could have at least make sure of the internal connectivity
All of the 7x handicaps as laid out above will clearly tell us that such components and arrangements can not surely charge big capacity batteries (70 Ah x2), moreover, run as if the source battery never depletes at a certain voltage level.
Here are the latest results of the experimentations so far as per the arrangement of the latest JOULESTEEM circuit variant above:
The big capacity batteries are charged fully with real and full charge
The backup batteries are charged fully with real and full charge
The frequency is fairly high at about more than 1 Khz, at times registering at the meters, and at times seemingly zero readings; a very odd behaviour, it seems the meter did not pick up the frequency and yet the circuit is fully running as indicated by the flickering 3 watts LED bulb
The oscillating transistor is not hot to the touch, rather it is somewhat cold; there will be instances I can feel a bit of a warm feel to the transistor but after some time it becomes cold to the touch again; this is again an odd behaviour, as normal circuits when it runs becomes warm and hot with no opportunity to go back to being cold while running
No matter how I swap both battery groups the circuit runs with no end in sight as long as swapping is done; the source batteries will deplete very very slowly, and will reach a point of “seemingly” not depleting anymore, and as the backup batteries will be swapped the previous source batteries as charged will again be full before the new source batteries depletes fully; at this described situation, I am very much confident that if I swap the batteries every 3 hours then the better will be the source battery performance whichever is placed at such position
I know these facts as laid down are starting to sound ridiculous and unbelievable, but I say to each reader it is all but true in accordance to my own observations. As I expect for these experimentations to get interesting, I will spend maybe 2 or 3 more descriptive posts, and then, the numbers as per the results.
