TIME TO LIST THE BILL OF MATERIALS
It may mean a lot to you if you read my previous post #2 as I explained the basic components of a joulethief circuit, link below.
As we are now fast approaching the part of the experimentations, I want to list down all the electronic components of the JOULESTEEM circuit so as to give everybody the chance to experiment for themselves or have somebody that is more technically inclined build the JOULESTEEM circuit for them.
Listed below are the basic components:
-1. Motorcycle batteries = 4x pieces
*Hints: BOSCH brand with part number GM7B-4B @12v 7ah or its equivalent
-2. Inductor, 12 volts primary 220 volts secondary @120 watts = 2x pieces
*Hints: Any RADIOSHACK ready-made inductors will do with the same primary/secondary specs; can be custom-made on electrical shops that deals with electronic components
-3. Ultrafast Rectifier Diodes = 14x pieces
*Hints: These are specialized diodes with part number UF5408
-4. Fast-switching NPN Transistor = 2x pieces
*Common fast-switching NPN transistor with high current and voltage ratings; with part number 2SC3552 or its equivalent
-5. Electrolytic Capacitors = 2x pieces
*Common electrolytic capacitors @400 volts 3200 microfarad
-6. LED bulb = 2x pieces
*Common LED bulb sold at hardware stores; should not be the dimmable type, just the ordinary type @220 volts 3 watts
-7. COAXIAL cable = 50 meters
*Common coaxial cables sold at electronics and electrical shops

SOME EXTRA NEEDS
As far as assembling circuits is concerned, we need more additional parts and components to complete the proper connections. We need also the following:
-Alligator clips
-DC (black/red) wires at assorted wire sizes
-Soldering iron and soldering lead
-Labeling kits
-Any wooden platform about 12 inches by 12 inches to place the circuit upon
-A handy power supply 220 volts to 24 volts about 100 to 200 watts
-Swiss knife and assorted electronics tools
The thrill is building up as I can clearly see we are nearer to the main event. Be patient with me guys.
