It is best to ask this question to the visionaries of those countries that had the experience of revolution. For example, the greatest revolution in the world, the October Revolution of 1917, did not come overnight. The conditions were created for a long time, many saw what was coming, but only a few dared to tell the truth.
1. THE REVOLUTION BEGINS – when people no longer accept dissatisfaction as a normal state, and you remain silent, citizens!
2. THE REVOLUTION BEGINS – when the anger of the hungry cannot be bought with the money of the full, and you are hungry, citizens!
3. THE REVOLUTION BEGINS – when the workers refuse to be slaves and take by force what belongs to them, and you remain silent, citizens!
4. THE REVOLUTION BEGINS – when moral law does not exist, and written laws are applied only to the poor, and you are the poor, citizens!
5. THE REVOLUTION BEGINS – when the state humiliates the old and arrests or expels the young, and you, citizens, are silent!
6. THE REVOLUTION BEGINS – when the government does not serve the people, but the people serves the government, and you, citizens, serve!
7. THE REVOLUTION BEGINS – when artists stop being cowards and speak out loud, while you remain silent, citizens!
8. THE REVOLUTION BEGINS – when free speech and free thought are banned, and you, citizens, are banned!
9. THE REVOLUTION BEGINS – when there is work and bread only for those who glorify and praise the emperor, and you are silent, citizens!
10. THE REVOLUTION BEGINS – when the police, army and security services are not the guardians of freedom, but the occupiers of their own people, and you are the occupied citizens!
Quite prophetic theses!
Only eight years passed from their publication to the revolution in Imperial Russia. Let's see how things are in the world today...
Is there something going on in the United States? Apparently not, except in polls:
Number of Americans Willing to Take Up Arms against “Corrupt” Government Revealed
49% of Americans feel like strangers in their own country, a new poll from the Institute of Politics of the University of Chicago has revealed. It also claims that 56% of people consider their government as a corrupt institution working against them, with more than a quarter saying it may be necessary to take up arms.
The statement that “it may be necessary at some point soon for citizens to take up arms against the government” was supported by 28% of Americans, including 38% of conservatives, 36% of Republicans, 35% of Independents, and 37% of those who have guns in their homes.
Even among self-described soft Democrats, 19% said armed resistance may be necessary.
US citizens also have gripes with the press, 48% of those polled said news reporters, editors and newscasters were “trying to get their own viewpoint across,” rather than “presenting the facts with as little bias as possible.”
