The key Imperial organ — military/industrial complex — went bonkers long ago. Ike has warned the nation on Jan. 17, 1961:
“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist.”
57 years later, his warning has come true. Imperial hubris had the worst consequences at its organ of force — and it is more than just cognitive dissonance. It is full fledged reality disorder — an insurmountable problem of facing the facts.
After the news agency “Russia Today” has reported on a Russian Foreign Ministry suggestion that Islamic State is operating inside a US-controlled zone in Syria, US Army spokesman Colonel Sean Ryan has accused RT of ‘ridiculous misinformation’ despite the UN and NBC reporting the same!
How about that level of denying the facts? Basically, military-industrial complex has evolved since Ike’s times into unbridled armada of psychopaths who openly support terrorists and are ready to make damage to anyone who… exists? Does anyone really knows what they want?
