On Friday, [around 03:00 GMT] US missile destroyers USS Porter and USS Ross fired 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at the Shayrat airfield in the Homs governorate, the Pentagon said in a statement. The US military claimed that “the Syrian Air Force had launched the alleged chemical weapons attack in Idlib from this airfield and that the attack was meant to reduce Damascus’s ability to launch such attacks in the future”.
The attack was conducted without any proof on who really used chemical weapons, before any investigation of the event, without declaration of war, without US Congress approval and without UNSC approval, which makes it completely criminal act.
