After spending about the half of my life in the biggest city in Bulgaria, Sofia, I have to say that nowadays I really appreciate and enjoy the village life.
Even at the moment when I am writing this post, I am looking at the trees and bushes in the garden. From time to time I am getting distracted by the birds flying between the trees. It is simply awesome to be able to make a few steps and be outdoors. True, to live in a house is much bigger responsibility that living in a flat. For instance I have a running list of urgent and not-so urgent repairs to do and trust me, this list is never shorter than ten bullet points. Even sometimes when I check one of those tasks, two or three new appear. Well, I don't complain, as I kinda started to enjoy those repairs that I do mostly by myself. Hiring handy-men is really difficult and in the most cases, very expensive.
Another great advantage I have here is that I see the most of the sunset, from the garden. As in the summer, it is very hot and I am using the time in between the golden hours, the sunset and the blue hour to water the garden. I also enjoy the clouds, and sometimes the cloudscapes a lot.
There aren't much edible plants in our garden, a handful of vegetables and a few trees but for instance, while I am writing this post, I am cooking a jam, prepared totally from the fallen fruits - four sorts of apples; plums, peaches, quinces and one lemon. Its aroma is really divine and inspirational, and I think I have to stop writing now as this is getting too long and nobody is going to read it anyway :D
You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything.
