Browsing the streets of a village can tell so much about the life inside it, isn't it?
Here is an average Bulgarian village I have visited a few times. Well, perhaps a bit bigger than the usual villages, as I heard it has more than five hundreds of people living there. And as what usually happens in the villages around... during the weekends, the population doubles, sometimes triples as many people run away from the noise and the dust in the big cities and water the roots of their family trees ;)
I am sure each village is unique in its own way. Culture, traditions, while there are always something in common, they are still some variants...
One of the common things of each village - always there is this one "special character" who makes everything more colorful :)
You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!
