I think that's part of how Nature changes in the last years. Three days ago I unintentionally threatened a wasps' nest that I didn't see and felt a sting on the inner part of my arm. The spot is still red and itches as f**k. Very unusual.
By the way, not the first time I am bitten by wasps, we live in the countryside, summers are hot, wasps' nest become huge and a lot of them nearby, thinking of it, this happens on a regular basis :D
The unusual part it, previously it was healing itself for a day, tops. I guess the wasp poison has changed too.
