Northern Fairy-Tale, winter visual story

Greetings, passionate photography lovers!

The hot summer days in the last few weeks unavoidably remind me of our winter photographic travel to Northern Norway, where we lived for few days in the beautiful small town of Tromsø and traveled around in the late afternoons and every night until dawn to chase the Northern Light, Aurora Borealis. It was a challenging experience for me as I was the guide and the lead photographer of a group of nine adventurers, as you will see that group in one of the self-action-photos below. Yup, remote triggers and tripods do nice job sometimes ;) For the week we spend there, we were blessed with Light night one and a half times :) But that was indeed enough to feel its power upon us all. Norway is a beautiful country and most of the places we visited were far away from the usual tourist routes, especially considering we were there in the middle of February ;) I believe I've captured some unique photos! Indeed, such a magnificent photographical destination!
