In the last couple of months, each week I receive one or two of those "offers".
To be honest, I am not surprised such initiatives exist. They have some bright examples. For example, I have observed at least three pumps on BTC and DOGE done by the same person everybody knows who said once Bitcoin is not green enough while fueling his rockets with greenhouse gas.
Anyway.
Considering my humble, a few years experience with the combo of Crypto/Blockchain/Trading/Discord, such direct messages always hit my skepticism, in a hard way. There are several reasons I am not buying this sh*t. But let's now just concentrate on the visible here ;)
"quality pump"? Is there such a thing? Could anything that, if not illegal, is in the grey area, be "quality"? What should that mean, anyway?
"Our intention is that our members take profits.". Translated to English, I am pretty sure that stands for "We need your money so a handful of people get richer."
"profit is crazy" or "very profitable". Please, decide! :D
"amount of invites is limited" - yeah, 3700+ members and tens if not hundreds of discord servers feels almost exclusive!
Am I missing anything?
Pumps are bad. My opinion, of course. Knowing that I became a bit richer by making anyone else poorer, is not my thing.
I hope there are no people on HIVE who do that. Let's not forget money is just a tool to achieve our goals, and not the main goal. At least to me.
