I am very pleased to congratulate all of you, who are passionate about Photography, as today, the 19th of August, is the World Photography Day!

As it is a really special occasion, I would say, my professional and amateur holiday (LOLZ) I have prepared a set of black and white travel photographs from some of my favorite destination; places, where I would love to travel again, given the time and resources.

I am putting a few words with each of the photos, so stay with me along...

1. Iceland

When your foot step on that enchanted land, it may appear to you it is out of this world. Indeed it is. The whole island is absolutely breathtaking and I bet you'll never forget your travel there!

2. Greece, Meteora

A sacred place, touching Heavens, as I love to say. The views are really amazing, visiting the monasteries there is a must!

3. Italy, Tuscany

Visiting this fairy-tale region in the seasons of the fogs is something I highly recommend!

4. Norway

One of the countries where the Northern Lights could be chased. The fjords, covered in snow, will make you want spend more tine outdoors, even in the Polar cold

5. Bulgaria, Black Sea shores

I hope this 20-seconds long-exposure photograph will drive you explore the beauties of Nature around :)

6. Switzerland, the Alps

Such views... I want to spread my wings and roam for hours...

7. Romania, Salina Turda

This salt mine in the Western part of Romania is an absolutely unique underground place. There is nothing like this anywhere else on Earth, I am 100% sure!

8. Greece, Kerkini lake

The wetlands around the lake are not always wet as you can see, but there are always magnetic pictures!

9. Bulgaria, Ahtopol

The iconic lighthouse, around sunrise:

The Eternal City will always be a place to further explore and enjoy:

The people, the culture, the art, the nature, the architecture, the food... I loved everything!

Let's visually celebrate this special day!

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything.
