Just a few hours before it is over, if I have to sum that year 2022 with one word, I'd say, for me, it was challenging.

Now, with more words, it was very, very challenging, full of surprises, some good, some not so much. It has its changes and it affected me in many ways.

You'd probably never hear me complain, so let me just say that I am no longer a professional photographer. As to be considered such a "pro", more than the half of my income should come from photography. That's no longer the case, thanks to the covid lockdowns in the last couple of years and when we were seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, boom... the fucking war between Ukraine and Russia started, and that is actually a world economical war that has been undergoing in parallel.

The inflation in my country, a member of EU is the worst in the union.

There have been three parliamentary elections here. I took part in all of them. Unfortunately, all of the elected politicians were impotent in their main task to elect a government and forge new laws and change the old laws for better. All they've been working on was to raise their remuneration and to secure their future slots in the parliament by all means. The political system totally lost my trust so I will not be voting any time soon. Unless there is some significant change in that system.

To get away from the negatives now, I am grateful for so many things.

So I am waiving at 2022 with a smile on my face.

Despite the very hard times, I happily managed to spend some of my savings properly - I traveled to a few beautiful destinations in Europe, in Bulgaria and Greece.

I had the time to travel again to and properly enjoy the sunken church at the Zhrebchevo dam and meet the sunset there:

I had the pleasure of the opportunity to explore the South part of the Black Sea shores, cities, beaches and villages in Bulgaria:

I listened to some divine music just a few meters from the shore:

Walked on green pastures:

Had fresh fish from near the fishing boats:

Tuned my watch:

Got my share of colors:

Now this one is a bit funny, because "svirka", forming the "musical" name of that village, in English means "whistle". However, in Bulgarian slang that word also means "blowjob". I have to note here that I didn't have any of these two experiences. Unfortunately, LMAO!

I am also so very grateful to have had the chance to enjoy the beauty of one big Greek island.

It's hidden gems:

And entertaining tourist landmarks:

Life was a powerful and beautiful waterfall those days:

And the view from the balcony of the room was breathtaking. Yes, such places exist!

Life is short. Life is a circle...

But it is full of light:

And life is beautiful and could be even more beautiful if I pay the right attention to it:

So my plans for 2023... to respect more my hedonistic side! I hope I'll have the chances to do so. :)

I wish you all the best in 2023 and great new eve celebrations!
