The colorful district of Trastevere in Rome, Italy.
Probably it is not one of the most visited and tourist parts of Rome but I have to tell you, I enjoyed spending a few days there.
Its streets are indeed very colorful, it has its certain charm, the people are warmer too. Also, from my travel experience, this quarter of the Italian capital has the best restaurants, in terms of delicious food for affordable prices and lovely service. Not like the service you would get in an overcrowded restaurant in the center of Rome ;)
It is also probably the best place to stay if you travel to Rome for few days. Calm streets and it felt safe.
