Now, finally I have the time to join in the Creative Blogger Tag! Quite excited to answer some of the questions and share my stories as well as a newly onboarded member.
A few days ago, I have been tagged by @sassycebuana and if you want to check out her blog, click here
There two obligatory questions along with this tag and these are: Obligatory Question Number 1: How would you add value to Hive?
I believe that I could add value to Hive through engagement. That is by connecting with individuals not just those that I know or those who live in the city but also individuals across the globe who enjoy sharing their stories on this platform. Engaging with others is also a way for me to be able to acknowledge the value that they bring to this platform an at the same time impart knowledge and share my thoughts regarding the posts that they share.
Obligatory Question Number 2: How would you make Hive a better place?
I could make Hive a better place by ensuring that everyone feels seen and heard thus making this platform a safer place. I would want everyone to feel that their thoughts are valid and that they should not feel bad or embarrassed to share their own unique stories because this is the purpose of the platform, for us to be able to amplify our thoughts without the fear of judgment.
@sassycebuana, also asked us to answer 5 questions and here are my answers to her questions. 1. What made you decide to join Hive?
While I was taking my dog out for an afternoon walk, I came across @asasiklause and we had a little catching up because we haven’t seen each other in quite some time. We asked each other what we’re currently up to and I asked him what has been keeping him busy and he talked about this platform, Hive where people get to share their stories and connect with other people from across the globe. After the conversation that we had, I got really interested in this platform and he then referred me to @explorewithsasha who helped me throughout the process of making my account.
2. How was your experience blogging so far in the platform?
Blogging is definitely not a walk in the park. Blogging takes a lot of effort as it requires you to put your heart and soul into your stories. When I tell my family about what I have been up to apart from internship duties, they would assume that blogging would be easy for me since I am quite fond of writing. But blogging is totally different from just simply putting up words to form sentences and then sentences into paragraphs. Blogging is like telling a story, but you don’t just simply put it out there because you have to be sensitive about what you share. Apart from which, I had a difficult experience learning basic programming as well, but I would like to thank @asasiklause and @tanawabai for helping me through the process.
3. If you can suggest something to add or improve in this platform what are those and why?
As of now, I am still learning and discovering new things in this platform. Hopefully in the near future though, this platform would be more user-friendly. What I mean by user-friendly is that hopefully signing up would not be much of a very complicated process. But as of now, I completely understand why the platform works in this way and I am willing to trust the process because learning happens day-by-day.
4.Do you believe in love at first sight? Why or why not?
No because I believe that love is process and that learning how to love a person or thing takes a lot of effort and patience. Love has a certain depth that one cannot comprehend in just simply seconds or minutes. Love takes time and before we decide to love we think about it over and over again because with love comes pain and we do not want to experience pain despite it being inevitable.
5. What is your most unforgettable love story and tell us why it’s unforgettable.
I’ve only had two relationships in the past but my most unforgettable love story would be when I was in high school. There was this boy who surprised me in public by singing a song for me or in Filipino, we call it “Harana”. I was 13 at that time and it was quite embarrassing for me to be surprised in that manner. Nonetheless, we were together for the next 3 years but eventually broke up since we had different religions. The breakup absolutely broke my heart but looking back, it was such a crazy experience and I would just laugh by the thought of it.
If you wish to do the Creative Blogger Tag, You are required to answer the two obligatory questions mentioned above and apart from which, here are five random questions I have for you:
