Aside from taking time off school and work, it's a day to be able to bond with your family after a long week of hustle. I think most of us we always look forward to the end of the week. We always look forward to be able to have a quick escape from the realities of life by simply lounging in bed or having a quick getaway with family. For this Sunday, I chose the latter.
Shots of what my eyes saw while traversing towards our desitination. Cebu has truly a lot of sights to offer..
It was quite a spontaneous adventure because my father informed only the day before our departure. I could never say no to a quick escapade because I got so bored to having a monotonous routine during the weekdays. Last Sunday, my family and I along with some of our neighbors, had a trip to the Northwestern part of Cebu, Philippines. Our first stop was at Pinamungajan, Cebu and the real reason why the trip was planned was because we had to deliver a birthday cake for someone's special day.
These were some of the photos my father took of me in Pinamungajan, Cebu. The place was truly picturesque.
After delivering the cake, we continued our journey and had a quick stopover at Toledo City in order to grab some coffee. My father searched this coffee shop at google called Café 1025. The place had a beautiful interior and the coffee was freshly brewed right in front of my eyes. My father ordered Hot Cappuccino while I ordered iced Café Latte. I would say that my drink was an 8/10!
Here are some of the shots I took while I waited for my order. The place truly has a peaceful ambiance. Perfect for stopovers as well due to the spacious parking area.
After a quick stopover to grab some coffee and snacks, we visited a friend at Balamban but we did not stay there for too long because time was running and we wanted to take photos before the sun sets at a viewing deck which was located a few kilometers away from our friend's house.
The spectacular view from our friend's place in Balamban.
We carried on with our journey and finally we reached the viewing deck, where there were a lot of bikers, motorcycle riders and other people who wanted to witness the picturesque view of Cebu. Unfortunately, when we arrived there, it was fogging but I could never miss an opportunity of being able to strut a pose. The fog was also beautiful, it made the atmosphere of the place even more calming and peaceful.
After we took some photos, we carried on with our adventure because I wanted to visit this Coffee house called "Outback Servo" because I heard from @tanawabai that this place has a beautiful ambiance and I have seen photos of the place from my other friend's Instagram post as well. However, when we reached the place, it was filled with a lot of people and it was getting dark already so we decided to visit it next time.
Since I was unable to take photos at Busay, here are some more photos of me at the viewing deck en route to Busay. This viewing deck way located at Balamban.
This Sunday was truly one for the books. It was such a breather for I was able to take a break from a hefty amount of internship work. Never miss Sundays. Never miss an opportunity to be able to take a pause because life is not just about work and school because we also have to live for moments like this, which is being able to spend time with family and reconnect with nature.

How about you? How did your Sunday go? Were you able to relax and take a pause from the hustles in life?
