I have been wanting to visit this chic and modern coffee place. I heard from a lot of friends that they serve delicious dishes perfect for brunch or when you just want to chill in the afternoon with your friends. The coffee place is located at Crossroads Banilad here in Cebu City.
After having lunch with my best friend, Trisha, we went to Commonly Uncommon since she needed to study for an exam. I then unexpectedly met my high school best friends, Alyssa, Justin, and Oscar and we did a quick catching up while Trisha was studying. We has similar orders since I wanted to try their bestseller. Whenever I am in a new restaurant or coffee place, I always order the bestseller so that I could try it firsthand and then I could attest if it's totally worth it.
As far as I could remember, I ordered the Crossroads special which was made of cold brew, vanilla syrup, and coffee infused with milk foam. It was definitely worth it because its taste was definitely unique as compared to the ones I usually order at Starbucks and other coffee places. We did not get to order dessert since we were still full from the lunch that we had earlier so I just bought cookie for Trisha since she was studying.
I am so glad that there are more coffee places opening in the city! I could really see how most people need caffeine to fuel their day and it's good that entrepreneurs really know their target market. I would definitely suggest this place to all of you especially if you are in Cebu City or you are planning to visit soon.
