Another interesting topic on Feather friends "SMALL BIRDS". These birds are very difficult to capture as they are small and 2nd they travel into thick bushes. The list of small birds is long as I have seen many birds around 10 to 11 cm length. The first smallest bird I captured is Pale-rumped warbler 9 cm long and the 2nd is Winter Wren 9.5 cm long.
Many 10cm long birds living in Margalla Hills, Islamabad are Black-chinned Babbler, Grey Hooded Warbler, Oriental White Eye, Red Avadavat and Purple Sunbird etc. The smallest woodpecker "speckled piculet" is also 10 cm long.
