Hello hivers and happy weekend to you all. It's a beautiful Friday evening right here in Nigeria. I will like to share with you dear mothers the battle I had trying to maintain my daughter's dental health.
My daughter started bringing out teeth when she was 10 months and I started with the dental care at about 12 months that was because I noticed a change in color of her teeth,dont judge me please, I'm a first time mom and there is no manual to do these things right. So I started with using a toothpaste specially for kids with a cotton wool to clean her mouth, that was because whenever i used a tooth brush, it's always a challenge, she'd cry and cry and I won't still be able to brush the teeth, so using a cotton board to clean the teeth wasn't giving much challenge but we still have some concerns on her mental health. I was worried as I would have to force her every morning to use a toothbrush to brush her teeth. I watched every video I could to make it better but nor worked.
A friend advised to get a very soft toothbrush but my daughter will prefer to shew it rather for me to help her brush her teeth. So this went on and on for over six months and I didn't like how her teeth colour was looking, I was bothered all the time but one day while on my phone a friend told me about a friendly brush for kids, that kids likes it because it's fun to use and easy. I was over the edge, I had to get this I said to myself.
Yeah! Finally got the magic tool, Hahahha and I really prayed to God it will do the trick and it surely did! My daughter loved it and brushing time is now play time for us. It's very easy to use and quite playful thing as well, now I have no worries about my daughter dental health has she can brush her teeth properly now.
This right here is one of the little things that mothers have to worry about and think of a solution each time, I'm thankful to finally be able to find a way out and my advice to any mother doing through the same thing you can try and get this type of toothbrush for you kid. I don't know the name but you can picture search the product on amazon or Alibaba. This is not a guarantee that it will work for you but it's better to try than sitting confused and not know what to do.
I'm happy brushing time is now fun time with my kid. Yay!
