This image is a pano of 24 individual shots, taken with 14mm focal length on the Nikon D750. The software used here was Hugin under Linux. I took the picture with a self-made nodal point adapter. At 2:30 a.m. you have peace and quiet even at the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin and no one walks through the picture. The pretty star next to the Schauspielhaus is the full moon.
Dieses Bild ist ein ein Pano aus 24 Einzelaufnahmen, aufgenommen mit 14mm Brennweite an der Nikon D750. Als Software kam hier Hugin unter Linux zum Einsatz. Aufgenommen habe ich das mit einem selbstgebauten Nodalpunktadapter. Um 02:30 Uhr hat man selbst am Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin seine Ruhe und niemand l盲uft einem durchs Bild. Der h眉bsche Stern neben dem Schauspielhaus ist der Vollmond.
In this image, I have rotated the German Cathedral at Gendarmenmarkt around the optical axis of the lens. I usually rotate the camera once completely. Here I finished the exposure after 8 steps of 15掳 each.
In diesem Bild habe ich den Deutschen Dom am Gendarmenmarkt um die optische Achse des Objektivs gedreht. Gew枚hnlich drehe ich die Kamera einmal komplett. Hier habe ich nach 8 Schritten mit je 15掳 die Belichtung beendet.
Here I first exposed the French Cathedral normally and then finally turned the camera a bit around the optical axis to paint the light traces of the street lamps into the picture.
Hier habe ich zuerst den Franz枚sischen Dom normal belichtet und dann zum Schlu脽 die Kamera ein St眉ck um die optische Achse gedreht um die Lichtspuren der Stra脽enlaternen ins Bild zu malen.
This picture of the Brandenburg Gate was relatively simple. I turned the zoom ring during the exposure, nothing more.
Diese Bild vom Brandenburger Tor war relativ einfach. Ich habe w盲hrend der Belichtung am Zoomring gedreht, mehr nicht.
Here I also changed the zoom during the exposure. However, in this picture I covered the lens during the zoom. This created the steps in the picture.
Hier habe ich ebenfalls den Zoom w盲hrend der Belichtung ver盲ndert. Allerdings habe ich bei diesem Bild das Objektiv w盲hrend des Zooms abgedeckt. Dadurch entstanden die Steps im Bild.
WHAT IS LIGHT PAINTING?
Light painting is a unique form of art. The artist illuminates the scene with diverse light sources and paints light traces into the picture with various light tools. In addition, we use various other techniques, such as camera rotation or other movements of the camera during the exposure. The creative possibilities are almost unlimited.
All our pictures were taken during one single exposure. Apart from denoising, sharpening, cutting and possibly adjusting the white balance, our pictures are not processed on the computer.
