DIFFERENT ORBS AND DIFFERENT TECHNICS
I hope I don't bore you too much with my orbs. Today I will show you different orbs and describe the different techniques I use to paint the balls of light into the picture.

I had attached an RGB torch from Ants On A Melon to the outside of a planting pole. Unfortunately, this is no longer available. The successor RGB Critter should be available soon. This torch can display a wide range of colours and has many modes such as colour change, fading or colour patterns as shown in the picture. I had attached a 40 cm long acrylic rod to the inside of the planting stick. This was illuminated by a small Fenix LD 10. Between the torch and the acrylic rod I had attached a piece of red colour filter foil.
By turning the rod at a previously marked spot and rotating it around the spot on the ground after each turn of the rod, the Orb was created. Behind the door on the left side I had hidden a small RGB rod lamp. The light in the back comes from the Orb. In the last step I had illuminated the cellar corridor in the front area with the Fenix FD65 and blue colour filter foil (LEE Tokyo Blue).
Ich hatte an einem Pflanzstab au脽en eine RGB Taschenlampe von Ants On A Melone befestigt.

For the Broken Orb, I had a Convoy S2+ with a cable remote switch attached to the pole. With the cable switch I could switch the torch on and off at the appropriate points while turning. If you turn slowly, it's not that difficult to switch the torch on and off at the right places.
I had hidden an RGB rod lamp behind the window. I illuminated the room with the Fenix FD 65 and an orange colour filter (LEE Golden Amber).

I created this orb freehand with two acrylic blades. The centre of the orb is my shoulder joint. I moved the blades in different directions from this point. In doing so, I rotated around the centre point. You always have to make sure that the shoulder joint stays in the same place. Furthermore, you should not stand between the camera and the light source at any time so that no traces of light are covered by your own body.
I used the Fenix FD65 with a blue colour filter for the illumination. I turned the camera once by 180掳 around the optical axis.

The tool for this image corresponds as far as possible to that of the first image. However, I had attached a second acrylic rod with a second Fenix LD10 to the rod. I then turned the orb twice in the same place. Once completely for the inner part and once only at three positions for the outer part.
I illuminated the scene with the Fenix FD65 and a small RGB lamp behind one of the pillars. I painted the "fog" on the ground with EL-Wire. Since EL-Wire is not very bright, I set the aperture to 2.8 for this part of the picture.
It takes a lot of practice to turn clean, even, round orbs. Even I don't always succeed, as this picture shows. But because I managed to illuminate the tree and the landscape quite well, I'll show you the picture anyway. Not everything always has to be perfect. At some point, hardly anyone will believe that these are real photographs and not digital art.
