Curso de Arte Conceptual: Lección 58 (Español – Inglés)

Hola, queridos amigos Hivers.

In this mild afternoon, I bring you the Lesson N° 58, of my works of the Conceptual Art Course that I am doing virtually.

My task of the moment consists of making an Analytical Copy of an image from the Internet, and then, adding new elements of my own inspiration, to turn it into a Creative Copy.

I downloaded a photo of a White Hippo in a museum.

To perform the tasks in this course, I recommend using free downloadable (royalty-free) photographs, obtained from websites, such as https://www.pexels.com/ https://pixabay.com/ https://unsplash.com/ and other similar ones, as they have a huge amount of images and are of great quality.

Task: Make the Analytical-Creative Copy of a Color photo.

Step N° 1: Place in Photoshop the photo downloaded from the Internet.

Step N° 2: Create a drawing grid and copy it to one side of the original image.

Step N° 3: Draw the edges of the image quickly.

Step N° 4: Correct the tracing to make it flawless.

Step N° 5: Paint the elements of the image with Local Color, i.e. basic color.

Step N° 6 and 7: I started by painting the head with its shadows and shines since it is the most complicated part.

Step N° 8: I continued with the back and the front legs of the hippopotamus.

Step N° 9: I continued with the back and the belly of the animal.

Step N° 10: I finished the hippopotamus and painted the plants on the floor.

Step N° 11: I painted the rocks on the floor.

Step N° 12: I painted the background (walls and floor).

Step N° 13: I added the stroke and Local Color of some additional elements of my own inspiration: the saddle, horns on the back, and a stamp on the right shoulder of the hippopotamus.

Step N° 14: I painted the additional elements, respecting the colors of the original image.

Final Presentation

It took me fourteen (14) hours to do this work.

This task was done in Photoshop 2017 with my Star 03 V2 XP-PEN Graphic Tablet.

En esta templada tarde, les traigo la Lección N° 58, de mis trabajos del Curso de Arte Conceptual que estoy realizando de forma virtual.

Mi tarea del momento, consiste en realizar una Copia Analítica de una imagen de internet, y luego, agregarle nuevos elementos de propia inspiración, para convertirla en una Copia Creativa.

Descargué la foto de un Hipopótamo Blanco que se encuentra en un museo.

Para efectuar las tareas de este curso, recomiendo utilizar fotografías de descarga gratuita (sin derechos de autor), obtenidas de páginas web, tales como: https://www.pexels.com/ https://pixabay.com/ https://unsplash.com/ y otras similares, ya que tienen una inmensa cantidad de imágenes y son de gran calidad.

Tarea: Realizar la Copia Analítico-Creativa de una foto a Color.

Paso N° 1: Colocar en Photoshop la foto descargada de internet.

Paso N° 2: Crear una cuadrícula de dibujo y copiarla a un lado de la imagen original.

Paso N° 3: Trazar los bordes de la imagen de forma rápida.

Paso N° 4: Corregir el trazado para que quede impecable.

Paso N° 5: Pintar los elementos de la imagen con Color Local, es decir, color básico.

Paso N° 6 y 7: Comencé por pintar la cabeza con sus sombras y brillos, pues es la parte más complicada.

Paso N° 8: Continué con el lomo y las patas delanteras del hipopótamo.

Paso N° 9: Seguí con la espalda y el vientre del animal.

Paso N° 10: Terminé el hipopótamo y pinté las plantas del piso.

Paso N° 11: Pinté las rocas del piso.

Paso N° 12: Pinté el fondo (paredes y piso).

Paso N° 13: Agregar el trazo y Color Local de algunos elementos adicionales de mi propia inspiración: la silla de montar, cuernos en el lomo y un sello en el hombro derecho del hipopótamo.

Paso N° 14: Pinté los elementos adicionales, respetando los colores de la imagen original.

Presentación Final:

Hacer este trabajo me tomó catorce (14) horas.

Esta tarea fue realizada en Photoshop 2017 con mi Tableta Gráfica Star 03 V2 XP-PEN.
