The usefulness of a card in battle is an important element to consider when buying and selling a card, because until now the cards that have acquired the most value over time have been the cards that are useful for winning battles in Splinterlands.
One of the most useful sites for a Splinterlands player is the PeakMonsters site (https://peakmonsters.com/).
The PeakMonsters site provides Splinterlands players with a lot of tools and features to speed up various operations that would take a long time if done from the Splinterlands site.
In today's post I want to show a feature that is not present on the Splinterlands site and that only the PeakMonsters site has implemented:
To show how to make a bid from the Peakmonsters site I will share my activity of optimizing my card collection.
I have one card in my card collection that I would like to upgrade: the Albatross card.
The Albatross card is a common card of the element Water.
Albatross level 1 is not a very useful card in battle because:
The Albatross card becomes a useful card in battle when it reaches level 6 because it acquires the Heal ability that allows it to restore the life points of the card in first position every Round.
My optimisation goal is therefore to add the level 6 Albatross card to my card collection.
In my card collection I have:
The level 6 Albatross card is the result of combining 100 level 1 cards, so in order to reach my goal I need to buy 58 level 1 Albatross cards and then combine them with the Albatross cards I already have in my collection.
At this point I have two purchase options:
1. Immediately buy 58 cards from the market and spend a total of $109,040 = 9236,558 DEC tokens
2. Make an offer to buy (BID) from the BUY section of the Peakmonsters website.
I chose the second option and here are the steps I took to make a BID from the PeakMonsters website.
The first step is of course the Login.
To login to the Peakmonsters site you need to use the same credentials as in Hive:
I recommend you to use Hive Keychain which gives you a higher level of security and allows you to perform many operations much faster.
After login you have to go to the BUY section of PeakMonsters as indicated by the arrow in the following picture.
Within the Buy section you can use the FILTERS section to quickly select the card you want to buy.
To select the Albatross card, I have entered the first part of the card name in the CARD NAME field in the FILTERS section (see image below).
Once you have identified the card you wish to purchase, click on the button marked BID as indicated by the arrow in the following image.
In the next screen you have to click again on BID (arrow in the following picture)
Note: If this is the first time you make a BID you must first authorize the Peakmonsters website to make purchases for you on the Splinterlands marketplace (Grant Purchase Authority).
On the next screen you will see all BIDs sorted in descending order (highest to lowest bid).
If you scroll down to the bottom of the list you will find a button marked MAKE A BID FOR THIS CARD which you must click.
On the next screen you can configure your BID and you have to enter:
For example, in order to buy Albatross cards, I have configured my BID as follows:
Once you have configured your BID you must click on CONFIRM inside the Configured Bid window and then you must click on CONFIRM inside the Hive Keychain window.
Operation completed! Easy, right?
The BID functionality offered by the PeakMonsters website is very useful and allows you to buy a card at a lower price than the market price.
Of course, in order to conclude the purchase offer, there must be a seller willing to sell at that price.
If I can buy all 58 Albatross cards I need for $1.5 each, I will have saved a good amount of money: $87 instead of $98.
When I'm not in a hurry to buy a card I always use Peakmonsters to make BIDs.
I can see the status of my BID at any time in the Profile section within the BIDS subsection (Profile -> BIDS).
Within the BIDS subsection I can reconfigure (UPDATE) or delete (trash symbol) my active BID and can do so at any time.
PeakMonsters also allows you to make BIDs in the rental market but this will be the subject of a future post.

Any game that involves the purchase of cards and tokens is never a simple game but it is also an investment and should be considered as such.
I am not a financial consultant and if you decide to invest in the game of Splinterlands you do it for your own choice, after having made your personal evaluations and considered all possible risk factors.
My advice is to always invest only what you can afford to lose with a light heart.

L'utilità in battaglia di una carta è un elemento importante da considerare nell'acquisto e nella vendita di una carta perchè fino ad oggi le carte che hanno acquistato più valore con il passare del tempo sono state proprio le carte utili per vincere le battaglie di Splinterlands.
Uno dei siti più utili per un giocatore di Splinterlands è il sito di PeakMonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/).
Il sito di PeakMonsters mette a disposizione dei giocatori di Splinterlands tanti tools e tante funzionalità che consentono di velocizzare diverse operazioni che se effettuate dal sito di Splinterlands richiederebbero molto tempo.
Nel post di oggi voglio mostrare una funzionalità che non è presente sul sito di Splinterlands e che solo il sito di PeakMonsters ha implementato:
Per mostrare come effettuare un'offerta di acquisto (BID) dal sito di Peakmonsters condividerò la mia attività di ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte.
Nella mia collezione di carte ho una carta che vorrei potenziare: la carta Albatross.
La carta Albatross è una carta comune dell'elemento Acqua.
Albatross di livello 1 non è una carta molto utile in battaglia perchè:
La carta Albatross diventa una carta utile in battaglia quando raggiunge il livello 6 perchè acquisisce l'abilità Heal che permette di ripristinare i punti vita della carta in prima posizione ad ogni Round di gioco.
Il mio obbiettivo di ottimizzazione è quindi di aggiungere alla mia collezione di carte la carta Albatross di livello 6.
Nella mia collezione di carte ho:
La carta Albatross di livello 6 è il risultato della combinazione di 100 carte di livello 1 e quindi per raggiungere il mio obiettivo devo acquistare 58 carte Albatross di livello 1 e poi devo combinarle con le carte Albatross che ho già nella mia collezione.
A questo punto ho due opzioni di acquisto:
1. Comprare immediatamente 58 carte dal mercato e spendere in totale 109.040$ = 9236.558 token DEC
2. Fare un'offerta di acquisto BID dalla sezione BUY del sito di Peakmonsters.
Ho scelto la seconda opzione e di seguito ti mostro i passi che ho eseguito per effettuare un'offerta di acquisto BID dal sito di PeakMonsters.
La prima operazione da effettuare è ovviamente il Login.
Per fare il login sul sito di Peakmonsters devi utilizzare le stesse credenziali di Hive:
Io ti consiglio di usare Hive Keychain che ti garantisce un livello di sicurezza maggiore e ti permette di effettuare tante operazioni in modo molto più veloce.
Dopo che hai effettuato il Login devi andare nella sezione BUY di PeakMonsters come indicato dalla freccia nell'immagine seguente.
All'interno della sezione Buy puoi utilizzare la sezione FILTERS per selezionare velocemente la carta che vuoi acquistare.
Io per selezionare la carta Albatross ho inserito nel campo CARD GAME la parte iniziale del nome della carta (immagine seguente).
Una volta che hai individuato la carta che vuoi acquistare devi cliccare sul bottone con la scritta BID come indicato dalla freccia nell'immagine seguente.
Nella schermata successiva devi cliccare di nuovo su BID (freccia immagine seguente)
Nota: Se è la prima volta che fai un'offerta BID devi prima autorizzare il sito di Peakmonsters ad effettuare acquisti per te sul mercato di Splinterlands (Grant Purchase Authority).
Nella schermata successiva visualizzerai tutte le offerte BID ordinate in ordine decrescente (dall'offerta più alta all'offerta più bassa).
Se scorri in basso fino alla fine della lista troverai il pulsante con la scritta MAKE A BID FOR THIS CARD che devi cliccare.
Nella schermata successiva puoi configurare la tua offerta BID e devi inserire:
Ad esempio io per acquistare le carte Albatross ho configurato la mia offerta di acquisto BID nel seguente modo:
Una volta configurata la tua BID devi cliccare su CONFIRM all'interno della finestra Configured Bid e poi devi cliccare su CONFIRM all'interno della finestra di Hive Keychain.
Operazione completata! Facile Vero?
La funzionalità BID offerta dal sito di PeakMonsters è molto utile e permette di acquistare una carta ad un prezzo inferiore rispetto al prezzo di mercato.
Ovviamente per concludere l'offerta di acquisto è necessario che ci sia un venditore disposto a vendere a quel prezzo.
Se riuscirò a comprare tutte e 58 le carte Albatross che mi servono al prezzo di 1.5$ avrò ottenuto un buon risparmio: 87$ ivece di 98$
Quando non ho fretta di acquistare una carta utilizzo sempre Peakmonsters per effettuare offerte di acquisto (BID).
Posso vedere lo stato della mia offerta di acquisto in qualsiasi momento nella sezione Profile all'interno della sottosezione BIDS (Profile -> BIDS).
All'interno della sottosezione BIDS posso riconfigurare (UPDATE) o cancellare (simbolo cestino) la mia BID attiva e posso farlo in qualsiasi momento.
PeakMonsters permette anche di fare offerte di acquisto (BID) nel mercato del noleggio ma questo sarà l'argomento di un mio successivo post.

Ogni gioco che prevede l'acquisto di carte e di token non è mai un semplice gioco ma è anche un investimento e come tale va considerato.
Io non sono un consulente finanziario e se decidi di investire nel gioco di Splinterlands lo fai per tua scelta, dopo aver fatto le tue personali valutazioni e considerato tutti i possibili fattori di rischio.
Il mio consiglio è di investire sempre e solo quello che puoi permetterti di perdere a cuor leggero.
