hello steemian today i will be talking brief about the HAUSA ethic group in NIGERIA.
The Hausa is one of the ethics groups in Nigeria. they are mostly found in the northen part of the country (in the city religion of sokoto kastina kano).they are known for their crafty works, sculptors, iron works, blacksmith, and even tailors.
They practice islamic as their way of worshiping, which they believe in prophet mohammed, they also read a book called the KORAN as their holy scripture and worship in an holy place called MOSQUE.
The language spoken by them is (HAUSA), which is the most widely spoken language in AFRICA, that makes them friendly and also found in many countries in africa.
Their mode of dressing is very unique and also strict, whereas the men do put on a long gown which they call BABBAN RIGA and the women are know for their blouse, abaya, head ties jalabia e.t.c they put on.
as i said ealier, this makes them unique, they are govern with customs that makes them know that to do at a particular time, either with relatives or outsider.
Their cultural heritage is playing of music,dancing and storytelling, which entertains the children and the parents out there.
