8 years ago I officially moved to the Philippines. With limited funds I decided to move directly to a small barangay. Locals often use the term simple life and I thought I will give it a try. No cell phone signal and no internet was a challenge. After a few weeks my entrepreneurial spirit came alive. Follow my HIVE blog as I share my first money making venture from a village in the Philippines.

This picture shows me shaving outside because there is no running water in the house. There was also no sink or mirror. This was the easiest way to get the job done.

After 3 months of living in a village the challenges and sacrifices would lead me to the closest city where life is a bit more comfortable.
