Hello lovely Steemians!

Ok, so I was thinking to myself that there's some AMAZING content here in our community and I would LOVE to try something with you all if you think it would be of interest/fun?!

If so then here's what I'm thinking...

I have noticed that LOTS of you enjoy travelling and I really enjoy learning about it and seeing all the wonderful photos to go with it. So, this got me thinking how great it would be to have a kind of

"Steemit Scrapbook"......

INCLUDING your recommended places to visit with perhaps a little info of its 'best bits'?! And of course a pic or two to make that travel bug become contagious! 😉

I think this would be a GREAT way for us to explore new places through the eyes of others, perhaps even add onto that bucket list and ENJOY ourselves, let's have some FUN and......

I will start!!

♡OUDTSHOORN, SOUTH AFRICA♡

Oudtshoorn is a town in the Klein Karoo area of South Africa’s Western Cape. It’s known for its ostrich farms and rests along the Route 62 wine route. Whilst I was here during christmas (amaZING) I enjoyed interacting with elephants, visiting the Rust-en-Vrede Waterfall, Cango Caves and riding a camel!! (And lots more but I'm kinda getting carried away here) haha!

We stayed at a lovely country lodge called De Oude Muel, I would highly recommend it, the people are just lovely and is beyond beautiful with scenic drives to various sights and attractions!

Part of the outdoor dining area, a nice little park behind it for the kids to let off some STEAM, sorry, couldn't help it haha!

At that time of year (Dec-Jan) the pool was definitely needed as we reached the 40°C mark!! It is a SUN TRAP!

And of course I HAD to take a picture of what was above the pool...!

Rust-en-Vrede Waterfall

It's a little bit of a trek to get inside to where the waterfall is once you have parked the car, but wouldn't say no longer than 5 mins tops! Just a few steps, little bridges and a LOT of uneven ground! Is lovely though!!

Because it was Christmas I just HAD to wear a hat! And I maaaay have even took a mini Christmas tree to put up... wouldn't be the same without one right?!😉

OK! You get the gist! It doesn't have to be as long as that (sorry!!) I am soooo excited to see where you guys have been and what you have seen! If there's somewhere that you haven't been/something you want to see I would LOVE to hear about that too!!
