I was doing my usual evening surf on steemit when I found myself floating away in thought (this happens A LOT!) I was thinking about a topic I was planning on blogging about earlier, but then all of a sudden I hear my name being called from another room, it sounded exciting so I put my phone down and went to see what was happening.

I went into my mums room to find a LOAD of my old school stuff, things like drawings, essays and such! I was amazed at how much had been kept (also amazed at how shocking my drawing was/is haha!) I maaaaay have taken some photos, just to add to the embarrassment lol. After seeing all this and reminiscing, I smiled to myself and thought how I'd like to share this with you!
Memory Lane!
Growing up for me felt like a very fast process for many reasons, but at the same time I do have memories of what it was like being that 'not a care in the world' little girl. It's important to remember those times amongst the rest, because in order for us to grow we must accept what is, and what has been to blossom and appreciate our lives. It was when I was looking back at all the old school work that I had a moment of deja vu.
I was looking at a variety of work I had done, but what caught my eye in particular was the art work (and not because of how great it was, it was anything BUT!). As far back as I can remember I always enjoyed drawing, writing and generally trying to be creative. I even had my own drawer in the kitchen packed with art bits! From making an entire princess castle (made only from paper! Yes, I'm still proud of that haha!) and a play acted out to go with, to drawing objects I could see infront of me, I just always remember doing something crafty! (I was a well behaved child, of course! So am OBVIOUSLY talking in terms of 'art and craft' 😉)

Ok, here's some work I took a snap or two of and from what I am looking at, I was focusing on an artist named Claude Monet!

Since looking back through all this I am once again reminded that ALL moments in life are precious, no matter how big or small. I found myself laughing when I found my autobiography that we had to make as part of an English assignment...

I'm so glad I managed to look through all this (sorting the loft has its perks haha) and re live certain times in my life, memories are one of many things that feed the soul! So live YOUR life and make TONS of them!
