Wanda era una hermosa mujer que a sus veintiseis años, había egresado de la universidad, había comenzado a trabajar en una prestigiosa empresa, algunos de sus compañeros de trabajo le tenían algo de envidia, por el puesto tan importante que tenía en dicha empresa. Pero el caso era que ningún otro trabajador era tan abnegado con su trabajo como lo era Wanda, de hecho algunas de sus amigas con algo de reproche le reclamaban que nunca tenía tiempo para pasarlo con ellas.

Wanda was a beautiful woman who at twenty-six years old, had graduated from college, had begun working in a prestigious company, some of her coworkers were a little envious of her, because of the important position she had in the company. But the fact was that no other worker was as devoted to his work as Wanda was, in fact some of her friends reproachfully complained that she never had time to spend with them.

Por esa razón Wanda se dispuso a pasar el siguiente fin de semana con sus amigas, que a su vez iban a invitar a otros de sus compañeros de trabajo. El caso fue que cuando llegó el momento del encuentro una de las amigas de Wanda le presentó a Will, quien era un hombre apuesto, aunque al principio a Wanda le pareció demasiado introvertido. Aún así la pasaron de maravilla ese fin de semana, la verdad es que Wanda tuvo que reconocer que le hacía mucha falta compartir con sus amigos. Antes de despedirse Will le pasó a Wanda una de sus tarjetas y ella hizo lo mismo.

For this reason Wanda decided to spend the following weekend with her friends, who in turn were going to invite other of her co-workers. When the time came for the meeting, one of Wanda's friends introduced her to Will, who was a handsome man, although at first Wanda found him too introverted. Even so, they had a wonderful time that weekend, the truth is that Wanda had to admit that she really needed to share with her friends. Before saying goodbye, Will handed Wanda one of his cards and she did the same.

Esa tarde luego de llegar a su apartamento Wanda se disponía a revisar algunos papeles de la oficina que había llevado a su casa y en ese momento repicó su teléfono, al atender la llamada se percató que era Will, el hombre al que le había dado su tarjeta. Charlaron un buen rato y tuvo que reconocer que había sido una buena charla. Era un hombre con una voz bastante cálida y aparte era muy gentil y con muy buenos modales, eso a Wanda la verdad es que le encantó.

That afternoon after arriving at her apartment Wanda was about to review some papers from the office that she had taken home and at that moment her phone rang, when she answered the call she realized that it was Will, the man to whom she had given her card. They chatted for quite a while and she had to admit that it had been a good chat. He was a man with a very warm voice and besides he was very gentle and with very good manners, Wanda loved that.

Wanda se dispuso a dormir pues al día siguiente tenía que ir a trabajar, esa tarde quedó con Will de ir a cenar y esos encuentros cada día se hicieron más frecuentes, la pasaban muy bien juntos. Sin darse cuenta ya estaban perdidamente enamorados el uno del otro, por eso decidieron casarse, pues aunque Wanda no quería reconocerlo anhelaba tener su propia familia soñaba con ser madre. Una vez casados comenzó su vida de familia y todo fue fluyendo de manera natural.

Wanda went to sleep because the next day she had to go to work, that afternoon she met Will for dinner and those meetings became more frequent every day, they had a great time together. Without realizing it, they were already madly in love with each other, so they decided to get married, because although Wanda did not want to admit it, she longed to have her own family and dreamed of being a mother. Once they were married, their family life began and everything flowed naturally.

Todo iba funcionando muy bien hasta que Wanda le dió la fabulosa noticia a Will, de que estaba embarazada. Tuvieron un hermoso hijo, todo en apariencia iba marchando bien, aunque Wanda empezó a notar con mucha preocupación que Will ya no era ese hombre maravilloso con el que se había casado, muchas veces lo observaba, sabía que algo no estaba bien, él se veía muy raro, como que todo le molestaba. Aún así todo siguió su curso y dos años después le dieron la bienvenida a su segundo hijo. Tenían una hermosa familia, la cual en ocasiones era la envidia de muchos. Pero tristemente Wanda tenía que reconocer que su matrimonio distaba mucho de ser la perfección que muchos imaginaban.

Everything was going very well until Wanda gave Will the fabulous news that she was pregnant. They had a beautiful son, everything was apparently going well, although Wanda began to notice with much concern that Will was no longer that wonderful man she had married, she often watched him, she knew that something was not right, he looked very strange, like everything bothered him. Still everything went on and two years later they welcomed their second child. They had a beautiful family, which at times was the envy of many. But sadly Wanda had to admit that their marriage was far from the perfection that many imagined.

Wanda en muchas ocasiones, una vez que sus hijos se dormían, cerraba sus ojos y soñaba con vehemencia ser realmente feliz, libre. Es cierto, tenía que reconocer que hasta las rosas más hermosas tienen espinas que suelen causar mucho daño. Era una mujer muy centrada y le agradecía a Dios y a la vida por sus hijos, eran su mayor felicidad. Sin embargo la relación con su esposo cada día se deterioraba más, por eso luego de muchos intentos fallidos tomaron la dura decisión de divorciarse, esto hizo que Will se frustrara aún más. Cuando le tocaba ir a buscar a los niños, o llegaba tarde a recogerlos o al momento de traerlos el domingo, se retrasaba y esta situación estaba llevando a Wanda al borde de la locura.

Wanda on many occasions, once her children were asleep, closed her eyes and dreamed vehemently of being truly happy, free. It is true, she had to recognize that even the most beautiful roses have thorns that often cause a lot of damage. She was a very centered woman and thanked God and life for her children, they were her greatest happiness. However, her relationship with her husband was deteriorating every day, so after many failed attempts, they made the hard decision to divorce, which made Will even more frustrated. When it was his turn to pick up the children, either he was late to pick them up or he was late to bring them on Sunday, and this situation was driving Wanda to the brink of madness.

En una oportunidad fue a denunciar a Will con las autoridades, pues ya ella estaba sumamente asustada ya que era evidente que Will estaba totalmente fuera de sí. Sin embargo las autoridades no hicieron nada pues legalmente él era el padre de esos dos niños y tenía derecho sobre ellos. Wanda ya no tenía vida, vivía abrumada y con mucho desasosiego, temía por la vida de sus hijos. Por momentos pensaba en llevárselos y ponerlos a salvó.

On one occasion she went to report Will to the authorities, as she was already extremely scared since it was evident that Will was totally out of his mind. However, the authorities did nothing because legally he was the father of those two children and had the right to them. Wanda no longer had a life, she lived overwhelmed and with a lot of anxiety, she feared for the life of her children. At times she thought about taking them away and putting them to safety.

Ese viernes en la tarde Will fue por sus hijos a la escuela como de costumbre con la idea de pasar el fin de semana en una granja que era propiedad de los padres de Will, los niños estaban muy felices ya que les encantó la idea. A Wanda por su parte esa idea no le gustó para nada. Pasó ese fin de semana muy intranquila añorando que llegara el domingo para tener de vuelta a sus hijos. Pero lastimosamente se hicieron las siete de la noche y Will no le había traído a los niños.

That Friday afternoon Will went to pick up his children from school as usual with the idea of spending the weekend at a farm owned by Will's parents, the children were very happy because they loved the idea. Wanda on the other hand did not like the idea at all. She spent that weekend very restless, longing for Sunday to come so she could have her children back. But unfortunately it was seven o'clock at night and Will had not brought the children back.

Desgraciadamente llamaron a su casa a eso de las nueve de la noche y el corazón de Wanda dió un vuelco. Le avisaron que había sucedido algo terrible. La granja de incendio con los niños y Will adentro. Cuando llegaron los bomberos fue muy poco lo que pudieron hacer, ya Will y su hijo mayor habían muerto y su hijo menor se debatía entre la vida y la muerte. Wanda estaba devastada, entró a la unidad de cuidados intensivos y el estado de su hijo era tan lamentable que le dió su bendición, con el corazón destrozado le dijo que no luchara más.

Unfortunately, a call came to her house around 9:00 p.m. and Wanda's heart skipped a beat. She was told that something terrible had happened. The farmhouse was on fire with the children and Will inside. When the firemen arrived there was little they could do, Will and her oldest son were already dead and her youngest son was struggling between life and death. Wanda was devastated, she entered the intensive care unit and her son's condition was so pitiful that she gave him her blessing, with a broken heart she told him to fight no more.

Wanda después de esa tragedia que cegó la vida de sus dos amados hijos y la de Will, estaba tan afligida por no haber echo todo lo necesario para proteger a lo que más amaba en su vida que era a sus dos amados hijos. De ese día en adelante entendió lo que solía decirle Will cuando estaba furioso: "El plato frío de la venganza, es el que le servimos a los que odiamos". Él se vengó de ella destruyendo a sus dos hijos y no le importo pagar esa venganza con su propia vida.

Wanda after that tragedy that blinded the lives of her two beloved children and Will, was so saddened for not having done everything necessary to protect what she loved most in her life which was her two beloved children. From that day forward she understood what Will used to tell her when he was furious: "The cold dish of revenge is the one we serve to those we hate". He took revenge on her by destroying her two children and did not mind paying for that revenge with his own life./div>
