Aiko and Mia being so very sweet, they are so fussy with me in the morning these days!
These two are both green cheeked conures, Aiko on the left is the Pineapple variety (sometimes called cinnamon) and Mia on the right is the yellow sided variant.
We have such a good morning routine, they just want to be sat on me while I get ready, constantly curious about what I am doing, breaking out in the little cuddles <3
Has anyone met a conure before? I hadn't really heard much about them until my other half suggested we get some, and they are just such sweet little friends! Their intelligence and reasoning floors me, from discovering that shouting down my wellies makes their voice sound funny, to the logic of how things open and close, showing such a clear understanding of causes and effects as well as picking up on and reacting to human emotion, and expressing an equal range of feelings themselves. These little guys never cease to surprise me!
