It is #wednesdaywalk #45 of 2026! This week I wanted to go to the Northside of the Island, I had not been over there in a few months - except in passing on the highway, and didn't pay enough attention!
But first I want to thank 
"Thank You"!

So for this week's walk I wanted to take a look around the Northside of the Island. I haven't been there in a few months, and I "thought" it might be interesting. Well honestly, not so much - however I will show you what I saw!
So when I first walked down to the shore I saw that the road was gone! This is a look over to the middle, which is still above water. The poles are out there so you can't drive further,
The tides were that high! Most of the plants, etc. were underwater!
I passed a "Gull on a Pole", they seem like that!
This is a look across the Channel at where I was last week and the University on the far side,
And a look South towards my house,
This is directly towards my house, but my place is on the opposite shore,
A few more views of the road, "now Island"! Here you can see how far out it is and get a better view of where the "poles in the road actually is",
From there I walked up the shore and found these Reeds growing,
And I went down the side. Here you can see where the Channel comes through under the highway,
On the far side there is much less along the
Shoreline. This is a view across the Channel at the Water Tower,
And the Sun going down in the West, and the reason I call this an Island. Some call it a Peninsula... But in a canoe you could paddle from there around and come out back in the Channel so?...
And from there I left and headed home!
