I was just talking this morning with my sister about this very topic.
And those things that cannot be bought (and in some people most of those things can be bought - if you have the income, for how long anyone's guess) are if much higher value. To me and probably to yourself as well - here comes the problem...
We have a new generation, with "No" relation to the past. So those values of the past, are also meaningless to them.
All they have been taught (since at least the mid 80's) is cash will get you further than no cash. And this is their mindset, so as a race we are stuck there.
I am really hoping in other places that it is not so, however...
Actually, and honestly I see "really" only one way to change the society that we are in. And it (I guess) has been tried before - and it only works if it works...
Mankind needs a new Spiritual Movement that sweeps "Fast"!
I would think, this would be the only way to shake them off the current path.
Oh well, my thoughts!
