So to start, since this does not have anything to do with my evening but I did want to share the photo,
This is a Golden Tickseed that I have at my house. This is the first flower, but I do believe there will be a few more!
And on to the evening!
So, I rode the bike over to the Park to see how things look late in the day, as normally I am not there this late. This is a look towards Pita and Padre Islands across the Channel. There is a few people on the Fishing Pier with a boat going by,
While I was walking along the Shoreline I saw this curious piece of what looks like concrete that washed up - somehow?
This is two views down the Shoreline South,
Very low tides and some Sandbars are forming,
I also passed this Curlycup Gumweed. Not many of these still blooming!
And now for the best part of my trip I did not expect at all!
First this photo of the Sky over the Water Treatment Facility - awesome view!
And... A Rainbow, or "Cloud Iridescence"! Here is another view ,

This is a little more from the side heading up the road leaving the Park,
And this photo I also got something amazing (to me)! I didn't even try, but I got the Sun behind the Electric Pole on the left - and a Rainbow on the right!
