In this part of the world, we have seen bluer seas, whales in our sea, playful dolphins closer than usual, turtles that I thought only existed in animal documentaries, brighter colors and a refreshing breeze.

In honor of World Earth Day there have been many calls for awareness and prevention. *We feel like we own and we are only in a borrowed place.

We must prepare ourselves and our children, be aware that we are momentary but the world is eternal if we take care of it.

Today I want to answer a series of questions that will allow me to evaluate myself and invite you to evaluate yourselves. I am building a new world.

What are you doing for the environment to help Mother Earth?

Values at home, I have been fortunate to have an environment that loves and respects the environment, the beach is our addiction and has a regenerating effect, this is why we have always kept in mind the safeguard of it. So we focused there.

Then life showed me that there was something else and I got to the place where I said I was, my first work experience made me fall in love and preserve Nature much more. Respecting how much she had to contribute, so I also had to do my part to give back what I received from her.

For this, for my environment I plant trees, collect waste from the beaches, recycle, teach by doing.

Do you have a message to tell the world about the environmental impact Mother Earth is experiencing?

We own nothing. Behave as if you were a visitor.

When we know we are in someone else's house we behave, clean up and keep things tidy. That should be our ideology with respect to our Mother Earth. *It is not ours, it is borrowed.

Enjoying a sea full of intense blue is only possible if we take care of it, by not littering we avoid pollution. No matter where you do it, in the end it will reach the sea and that is what we want to avoid. Your waste has a place.

So that your children and nephews and nieces can enjoy those wide fields, the green of the mountains and the singing of the birds. It is your task, our task to take care, collect and give back to nature as much as she gives us.

What are some tips and steps you could offer to others to support Earth care?

I should clarify that I do not own the truth and perhaps from my space I cannot change the world. But I can manage to change the piece that touches me. If we all change our spaces together, little by little the changes will be greater.

Always carry a bag with you, put there the waste you generate while you are on the street, if you do not find a place to put it at the end of the day take it home and put it in an appropriate place.
Do not be pessimistic when you think that a grain of sand does nothing in the immensity of a beach, think that this grain makes the difference. Attend cleanup days, reforestation, recycling, walks, talks. A lot can be achieved when working as a team.
Plant a tree, yes, for you, for me and for yours. As time goes by it will be a reason to remember you, a producer of shade, a producer of fruits, a producer of memories.
Reuse, fall in love with the beautiful things behind reuse.

Do you have rituals that benefit our planet?

Ritual as such I don't have. What I do do, and it is part of the little I can contribute, is that I make collections of plastic, reusable material.

I attended cleanup days of rivers, beaches, parks, squares. Talks and awareness events.

Mother Earth gives us more than we can imagine.

En honor al Dia Mundial de la Tierra muchos han sido los llamados a la conciencia y a la prevención. Nos sentimos dueños y solo estamos en un lugar prestado.

Debemos prepararnos y preparar a nuestros hijos, ser conscientes que somos momentáneos pero el mundo es eterno si lo cuidamos.

¿Qué estás haciendo por el medio ambiente para ayudar a la Madre Tierra?

Valores en casa, he tenido la suerte de tener un entorno que ama y respeta el medio Ambiente, la playa es nuestra adicción y tiene un efecto regenerador, por esto siempre hemos tenido en cuenta el resguardo de ella. Así que nos enfocamos allí.

¿Tiene un mensaje para decirle al mundo sobre el impacto ambiental que está experimentando la Madre Tierra?

No somos dueños de nada. Compórtate como fueses visita.

Cuando sabemos que estamos en una casa ajena nos comportamos, limpiamos y mantenemos las cosas de forma ordenada. Esa debería ser nuestra ideología con respecto a nuestra Madre Tierra. No es nuestra es prestada.

Disfrutar de un mar lleno de azul intenso solo es posible si cuidamos de él,al no arrojar desperdicios evitamos contaminación. No importa el lugar donde lo hagas al final va llegar al mar y eso es lo que queremos evitar. Tu desperdicio tiene un lugar.

Para que tus hijos y sobrinos puedan disfrutar de esos amplios campos, el verde de as montañas y el canto de las aves. Es tu tarea, nuestra tarea cuidar, recolectar y retribuir a la naturaleza tanto como lo que ella nos da.

¿Cuáles son los consejos y pasos que podría ofrecer a otros para apoyar el cuidado de la Tierra?

Debo aclarar que no soy dueña de la verdad y tal vez desde mi espacio no puedo cambiar el mundo. Pero si puedo lograr cambiar el pedazo que me toca. Si entre todos cambiamos nuestros espacios poco a poco mayores serán los cambios.

Puedo decir que;

Carga siempre un bolsita contigo, coloca allí el desperdicio que generes mientras estás en la calle, si no consigues dónde colocarlo al final de la jornada llévalo a casa y lo colocas en un lugar apropiado.
Apoya las jornadas, no seas pesimista al pensar que un grano de arena no hace nada en la inmensidad de una playa, piensa que ese grano hace la diferencia. Asiste a jornadas de limpieza, reforestación, reciclaje, caminatas, charlas. Es mucho lo que se puede lograr cuando se trabaja en equipo.
Siembra un árbol, si, por ti, por mi y los tuyos. Al pasar el tiempo será un motivo para recordarte, un productor de sombra, un productor de frutos, un productor de recuerdos.
Reutiliza, enamórate de las cosas bonitas que hay detrás de la reutilización.

¿Tienen rituales que beneficien a nuestro planeta?

Ritual como tal no tengo. Lo que si hago y es parte de lo poco que puedo aportar, es que realizó colectas de plástico, material reutilizable.

Asistí a jornadas de limpieza de rios, playas, parques, plazas. Charlas y eventos de concientización.

La madre tierra nos da más de lo que podemos imaginar.

¿Qué opina de las leyes, normas, medidas que ha tomado su país sobre el medio ambiente?

Somos un país pobre y no precisamente de recursos financieros. Sino se cultura de resguardo, rescaté y reutilización.

Hablo con base al decir que muchos han sido y son los planes de mejoras en el ambiento ambiental. Pero lamentablemente debo decir que la burocracia, los interés personales, el comercio agarra más fuerza ante una solicitud para el Ambiente.

Tenemos leyes obsoletas que se cumplen dependiendo del impacto que puede generar financieramente en vez de lo que pueda afectar el medio bien.

Falta educación, jornadas y conciencia sobre este tema pero de qué por lo menos hemos arrancado. Ojalá podamos aprender y llegar a establecer normas y leyes que nos hagan seguir construyendo un nuevo mundo.

Hago un llamado a tu conciencia, te invito a disfrutar en el recorrido, las flores han recuperado el brillo en su color, el mar se han engalanado con azules de alto impacto. Los animales han ido recuperando sus espacios.

No todo estaba perdido podemos cambiar y mejorar, podemos ser parte de eso que necesita cambiar. No podemos ser parte de lo que ocurre y quedarnos callados. Debemos ser parte de los que construyen y vamos a ser parte del cambio.
