the site uses your excess upload bandwidth to share the streams you watch. if a stream has the TFUEL icon next to it, you can earn, but you only earn when another peer receives data that you've uploaded.

also, THETA is different than TFUEL. it is the governance token for the network. if you run a node, you stake THETA to earn a portion of the TFUEL network reward.
