This is one of the stunning moth that had ever landed in my home馃ぃ. This species of moth is native to the countries in Indian subcontinent. I found this one sitting in my staircase marble. The scientific name of this one is Bastilla Crameri. Seems like there is not much information available on internet about this species besides it's classification, habitat and appearance. The unique feature of this mosk is dark brown color on the wings and that two black dots in the hindwings. Actually these black like dots are called eyespots. These eyespots are used for defending themselves agains their predator. At the first glance, I was also confused about where the main eye is located.
