How things change, this is a video from a while ago, things look a bit different now, especially the artwork hanging on the walls. It gives you an idea of what my studio is like.
At this point I still had many of my abstracted works hanging on the walls, and good number of unfinished work. In the past year I have concentrated on figurative works and building up a body of work to exhibit.
The drawing I was working on, was part of my personal 30 day challenge of a drawing a day. It ended up being more of a challenge than I thought. I had planned just simple sketches, but each one ended up being rather involved. The discipline was a great exercise and forced me to be very focused, as I had to set priorities to stay on target.
I have since also optimised my drawing and painting space and have a better set up now. Streamlining your work space has a big influence on your productivity. Things were a bit chaotic and cramped when we shot this video.
