I think when you buy CPU, you have a question, Why K version is expensive than non-k version.

• K version = possible overclock
• non-k version = possible overclock, but this manner of overclock is too hard.

First, introduce K version.
1151 socket K version CPU : Skylake = I7-6700K / I5-6600K Kabylake I7-7700K / I5-6700K
Kabylake CPU overclock is easier than Skylake CPU overclock

• Q1/ Why Kabylake CPU overclock is easier than Skylake CPU overclock ?
  A1/ Normally, Kabylake is new version . Skylake is old version.

Second, Q2/ Why I7 CPU price is higher than I5 CPU ?
A2/ I7 CPU has Hyper-Threading technology.
Hyper-Threading technology is in I7 CPU, Not I5 CPU

• Hyper-Threading technology
  = Hyper-Threading technology is simultaneous Multithreading.
  For example, I7 CPU and I5 CPU have same core, 4 cores
  But, I7 CPU has 8 Thread and I5 CPU has 4 Thread. This is Hyper-Threading technology.
  Hyper-Threading technology = Each CPU Core has 2 Thread

• Thus, Including Hyper-Threading technology CPU is better performance than not having Hyper-Threading technology CPU.

• Then, You have a question
  Q3/ Why having H-T-t CPU is better ?
  A3/ In the game, H-T-t make a work = FPS defense
  So, If you use H-T-t CPU, you may not have worry to FPS down.

Third, Why I7 CPU overclock is easier than I5 CPU ?
The answer is I7 CPU base clock is higher than I5 CPU.
For example, I7-6700K base clock is 4.0 GHz, But I5-6600K base clock is 3.5 GHz
Normally, Higher Base Clock CPU have a little volt than low Base Clock CPU.

So, I think you know I5 / I7 CPU difference.
