Just kidding, it's actually pretty amazing and we can't tell you how proud we are of these Leaderboards, and how much we have planned for them in the near future.
Hint: If you want to see some alpha, you can check out labs.leofinance.io <- This is where we release our next features, and users can test them there. This UI will be buggy, but it has all the Leo alpha before it goes out to production.
These leaderboards are our first iteration in our long and constant search for gamification options to make engagement more interactive and fun in Hive and web3. We currently have a Daily Leaderboard section and a Weekly Leaderboard section, with more filters to come.
We're tweaking each of the individual leaderboard's algorithms to make them as less gaming-prone as possible.
We're getting there.
### Leaderboards
Now that you are back from checking them out, here's a sweet announcement:
The Daily Leaderboards reset at Midnight UTC.
Every day, before the reset, we will take a snapshot of the top Lions on each leaderboard.
Then, we will curate these users.
Depends on the Leaderboard the Lions rank on at the top.
Of course, this curation depends on the quality of the Posts, Comments, Threadstorms and Threads. We are only going to curate those that show some effort, quality and avoid spam in the case of Threads and comments.
The least thing we want is to encourage bad behaviours. We want to reward meaningful interactions, and our Curation will reflect that.
We start tomorrow, September 7, so be ready frens.
Side note: Remember that only activity and engagement made on the Leo frontend count towards the Leaderboard
